Suffering
“I know their suffering.”
—Exodus 3:7
God Sees Our Suffering
From the burning bush, God spoke these words to Moses about His people
suffering
in Egypt. God is deeply attentive to His
children. He sees their pain, knows their needs, and
always has a plan to help
them. Just as He sent Moses to deliver His people from Egypt, He
sees suffering and sends the help we need.
He does not ignore those who are
hurting. When He says, “I know their suffering,” He assures
us that He is present
and already at work.
Remain Open to His Help
We need to remain open to God’s hand in our lives. He may speak a word of
encouragement,
send someone to support us or intervene in ways we do not
expect. He acts because He cares
for His children and does not abandon them in
their suffering.
Although He may use difficult
circumstances to teach and strengthen us, the time will come when
He brings an
end to the pain we have endured.
Trust His Work in Your Life
Whatever you may be facing, God knows all about it and is already preparing a
way for you to
receive the help you need. He sees you, hears your cries, and is
making a path toward freedom
from pain and suffering. Stay alert, trust Him,
and watch for the ways He is working in your life.

Lord, thank You for the storms of life, for they cause me to run to you for
shelter. In Your presence, I am safe.
